When I try to export the data it does not export in a CSV format/attachment but as plain text within the email.

In previous versions this did work and sent a CSV attachment with the email.

Is there something that I'm doing wrong? How can this be fixed?

I am using Gas Cubby version 2.1 on iPhone 3G

Both a plain text and a .csv file should be sent. Are you sure there isn't also a file called export.csv attached?

If you still don't the file, tell me, is the inline text in HTML? It might look like a mass of gibberish with your data mixed in.

There is no export.csv or anything that comes as an attachment. It only comes in as inline text in HTML format.

When gas cubby is composing the data it shows as plain text with a greyed out icon at the bottom within the text that is unselectable called export.csv.

The email looks like it is correct but once sent it becomes all mubble jubbled in my received email and when I check the sent message from gas cubby.

I'm going to bet your using a Yahoo account; this can include rocketmail and sbcglobal and a couple others.

This is a known issue with Yahoo accounts we intend to remedy as soon as we're able.

However, there is a workaround. When you tap Export and the Export screen appears, enter your email address then tap Cancel. A window should pop up asking if you want to Save, Don't Save, or Cancel. Select Save so the email will be saved to the drafts folder of your email account and you may open Mail, go to Drafts and send from there without issue.

Alternatively, after tapping Cancel then Save, a few moments later (if you have an internet connection) you'll likely find the email in the drafts folder online in Yahoo Mail. If you just wanted the file, you don't even have to send it from there; you can probably just get it from there.
