I sync-ed my Gas Cubby info a week or so ago (not for the first time, has worked fine in the past) and now things are crazy. My iPhone app thinks I have a Ford F150 instead of a Prius and also thinks I have been averaging over 100mpg over the last three years. It looks like all the data is there (odometer readings, gallons and price/gallon) but some entries do not compute MPG for some reason. Any ideas on how to get this straightened out?

That sounds very strange. Have you tried to synchronize (Online Sync) with anyone's phone? Perhaps your spouse? Coworker?

No - I have not synced with another phone/touch. Not sure what caused the problem. Agree - it is very strange. I exported what I have and when I have time, I'm going to try to straighten it out using Excel. Further info - I only track one vehicle, not a Ford F150 (it's a Prius). I have no idea where it got the Ford for the vehicle name. The other interesting thing is that the data that I entered appears to be intact but several entries do not compute MPG even though everything necessary to compute it is available.

Is it possible someone else grabbed your phone to check out Gas Cubby and changed the name of your vehicle and did other things?

I just had another thought. Is your iPhone used or refurbished? There have been cases where Apple doesn't wipe the phone completely before reselling (this happened to a friend... he could see someone else's email). With this possibility, however remote, it's hard to say how this really could have happened.

No on the refurb and no on the "could someone have grabbed my iPhone to check out Gas Cubby". My iPhone is basically a body part. I consider it my "personal space" :D I don't know if anybody will be able to explain it. I was hoping for a "change this and here's how to get it back" idea from somebody. Looks like I'm going to have to clean it up the hard way. Thanks for trying to brainstorm with me though.
